We are a not-for-profit dog training club, offering a wide variety of classes and other canine related activities to our members and to the public.
We own a large, heated and air-conditioned club house and training facility where we offer obedience classes at the Puppy, Beginner and Family Dog levels. We also offer a multi-level competition track for owners with a desire to compete in AKC Obedience or Rally Obedience.
Conformation classes and training facilities are available to our members.
Our classes are taught by a well-rounded, dedicated staff of volunteer instructors, under the direction of a Training Director. Beyond the Puppy Class level, all of our instructors have earned at least one competitive title on a dog.
Nursing homes, Libraries, Schools, and Festivals
Therapy work, Tracking, Herding, Hunting, Conformation, and Agility
Star Puppy, CGC and CGCA testing by testers certified under the AKCs Canine Good Citizen program, plus periodic seminars on dog training and dog care as well as special events.
Therapy dogs are typically well behaved pets who's owners have trained to provide affection, comfort and love to people in hospitals, retirement or nursing homes, schools, hospitals and other places where visitation may be appropriate and where they have been invited. Therapy dogs DO NOT have public access privileges under the Americans with Disabilities Act and therefore must be invited.
Our goal is to further the sport of training, showing and breeding dogs while fostering good sportsmanship. We also strive to educate and assist the public in training their pet dogs.
If you have rescued a dog from a local shelter or rescue within the last 12 months, you qualify for our shelter dog program. Sign up for puppy or beginner classes at the regular price and when you complete 4 classes you are eligible to receive a $30 refund.
*REQUIRED* Proof of adoption within 12 months of the start date of the class.
